Tom Carden: Time Travel Tube Map

Tom Carden: Time Travel Tube Map Subway maps continue to inspire a wealth of creativity. First. Google's Alexander Chen turned the MTA subway map into an interactive instrument with his Conductor project . Now, UK developer Tom Carden has put together this isochronic London Undergound map, based around travel times. When you click on your chosen station, the illustration will reogranize itself to reflect the times taken to reach different destinations. This is also marked by concentric circles around the station that you've chosen. Carden says he was inspired by Oskar Karlin's reworking of the tube map around the time to travel from Elephant and Castle and Rod McLaren's subsequent sketch 10 Minutes tube travel from Oxford Circus .
